Man Arrested for Breaking into Home, Assaulting Female and Kidnapping Children, says RCSO

ASHEBORO N.C. - A Thomasville man was arrested on multiple felony charges after the Sheriff’s Office says he broke into a woman’s home, assaulted her, and stopped her from calling 911 or answering the door for deputies, and kidnapped children at the home.
On January 1st, 2024, Randolph County 911 received a 911-hangup call with screaming in the background. After not being able to get an answer on return calls deputies from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area.
When deputies arrived, they were unable to get anyone to respond to the door of the residence they believed the call to be coming from and saw no signs that anyone was there.
