Two Deputies Struck By Vehicle Outside Asheboro Donut Shop

ASHEBORO N.C. (ACME NEWS)- Two Deputies with the Randolph County Sheriff's office had to be taken to the hospital after they were both struck by a vehicle while crossing the road in Asheboro.
According to Randolph County 911, at 12:31 p.m. a deputy with the Randolph County Sheriff's Office reported over the radio that her and another deputy had been struck by a vehicle in front of Glaze King Donuts on Albemarle Road.
Candee Bowman was driving on Albemarle Rd getting ready to make a left on Lewallen rd when she witnessed the accident. "I came up to them crossing the road.
