Save the date for Asheboro Field of Honor, November 11-13

Field of Honor Asheboro (Scott Pelkey / Acme News Archive) ASHEBORO N.C. (ARCOC) – The Asheboro Rotary Club and the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce are joining together again to present the Field of Honor during Veteran’s Day weekend this year. From Friday, November 11, through Sunday, November 13, the baseball field at South Asheboro Middle School will be transformed into the Field of Honor with U.S. flags posted in perfect rows and columns in tribute of heroes. The public will be able to sponsor flags in recognition of their heroes, including veterans, active-duty service men and women, first responders, and any personal heroes. More information about buying flags, the opening and closing ceremonies, and sponsorships will be provided in the coming weeks.
