Asheboro Police Responded to Shots Fired Last Weekend
ASHEBORO N.C. - Over the weekend Asheboro Police responded to a call about shots fired just a block away from the police station.
According to a police report from the Asheboro Police Department, on Nov 12th, 2022, officers responded to the area of S Fayetteville St. and W. Academy St. in reference to a report of shots fired. Randolph County 911 advised that the occupants of two vehicles, a white passenger car and a black passenger car, were shooting at each other as the vehicles were traveling on the roadway.
Officers saturated the area but did not locate either vehicle or any victims. A police sergeant located eleven spent 9mm shell casings in the roadway which were placed into evidence.
