Cooking With A Cop – Photo Gallery

ASHEBORO NC – The third and final Cooking with a cop event took place Thursday at Memorial park in Asheboro. The community outreach event offered free hot-dogs and chips and a chance for citizens to speak with the officers with the Asheboro Police Department. Randolph County Crime Stoppers was also there, collecting donations and educating citizens about the important work they do helping to solve crimes and find missing persons. The Asheboro Fire Dept set up a fire hose for kids, and some adults to play in for a chance to cool off. Asheboro Police Chief Mark Lineberry said he was encouraged by the turn out and is looking forward to hosting the event again next year.
