ASHEBORO N.C. — A Randleman man was arrested on Drug trafficking charges earlier this week.
According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on December 22nd, 2021, their Vice and Narcotics unit working with the Asheboro Police Department concluded an investigation after receiving information about an the distribution of Heroin and Fentanyl in Asheboro.That investigation led detectives to execute a search warrant at the Motel 6 in Asheboro at 827 Albemarle Rd. Police say that search found a “trafficking amount” of Fentanyl was located, along with Alprazolam (a generic form of Xannax), drug paraphernalia and US Currency.
Antonio Matthew Ciraolo was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail where he was charged with Felony Trafficking in Heroin, Misdemeanor Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession Drug Paraphernalia and Misdemeanor Possession Schedule IV. He was issued a $25,000 secured bond and a first appearance set for January 3, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
