Sheriff’s Office Charges 3 Individuals With Sex Offenses

ASHEBORO N.C. – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office announced they have recently charged three individuals with sex offenses involving minors.

Juan Jose Figueroa Jimenez was charged with felony crimes against nature and three counts of felony indecent liberties with a child after the Sheriff’s Office received information about sexual offenses on December 15, 2021 that led them to start an investigation. On February 12, 2022, Figueroa-Jimenez was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail where he was given a $100,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for February 14, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.

On February 11, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says they received a report of a sexual offense against a juvenile allegedly by Jerod Austin Eugene Summey. Their investigation led to them bringing charges for felony indecent liberties with a child. On February 14, 2022, Summey was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail where he was served the warrant. He was given a $25,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for February 15, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.

On February 6, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a offense against a juvenile alleged committed by Roy Gibson Parson. After starting an investigation, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division sought charges for felony statutory sex offense with a child by adult. On February 15, 2022, Parson was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail where he was served the warrant. He was given a $250,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for February 16, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
