ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has a arrested a male and charged him with sex crimes involving a minor. According to a press release, on May 28th, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sex offense involving a minor. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Jonathan Linden Brown for three counts felony indecent liberties with a child, two counts felony statutory sex offense with child <=15, and felony statutory rape of a child under 15 years old. The magistrate found probable cause and issued a warrant. On July 12, 2023, Brown was taken into custody at the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served the warrant for arrest. On January 13th, 2023, the Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Detectives brought charges against Bernard Joseph McSweeney for four counts of felony disseminating obscenities. On January 23, 2023, McSweeney was apprehended by the Criminal Apprehension Team onHewitt St. in Greensboro, NC. ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office announced they have recently charged three individuals with sex offenses involving minors. Juan Jose Figueroa Jimenez Juan Jose Figueroa Jimenez was charged with felony crimes against nature and three counts of felony indecent liberties with a child after the Sheriff's Office received information about sexual offenses on December 15, 2021 that led them to start an investigation.
