Randleman Woan Facing Felony Drug Trafficking Charges

ASHEBORO N.C. – A Randleman woman is facing multiple felony drug charges in two separate cases from last month according to the Sheriff’s Office.

On March 21st, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team, assisted by the Vice and Narcotics Division, initiated a traffic stop on I-73 in Randleman. According to a press release, a vehicle driven by Tracey Canoy Corum was pulled over, a search was conducted, and a trafficking amount of heroin was located, along with amphetamine and US currency.

Corum was transported to the Randolph County Jail where probable cause was found for the charges of two counts felony trafficking in heroin, as well as other drug charges. She was given a $25,000 secured bond which she immediately posted.

The Sheriff’s Office says shortly thereafter Corum became the subject of another investigation and on April 4th, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at Corum’s residence on Camellia Ln. in Randleman.

During the search, Detectives say they located and seized a trafficking amount of heroin, amphetamine, marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia, as well as two firearms and a large amount of US currency. Corum was arrested again and taken to the Randolph County Jail where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of additional felony drug and trafficking charges. She was given a $125,000 secured bond with a court date scheduled for April 5, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
