RAMSEUR N.C. – Earlier this week a bomb threat closed the Dollar General in Ramseur early and now police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
On July 10th, 2023, Ramsuer Police and first responders were dispatched to the Dollar General Store located at 6493 Jordan Rd.
According to police, an unknown subject called into the store requesting to speak with the manager who they told there was a bomb in a specific area of the store.
Employees evacuated the store and called 911. Multiple searches of the store were conducted by officers and nothing suspicious was located.
The business closed early due to the incident.
