ASHEBORO N.C. – The N.C. Dept of Transportation (NCDOT) is warning drivers of a rolling roadblock on I-73/74 near Old Farmer Rd, Sunday (11/19/2023) between the hours of 9:30 am and 11:30am.

Location: I-73 (I-73/74) Both Directions in Randolph County at Mile Marker 73 to 74, In Asheboro, Near Old Farmer Road

End: 11/19 @ 11:30 AM
Description: A contractor for Duke Power (Lee Electric) will be upgrading existing power lines that are currently crossing I-73/74 at the overpass of Old Farmer Rd. A rolling roadblock will be used until the work is complete. This work will take place on Sunday (11/19/2023) between the hours of 9:30 am and 11:30am and should only last momentarily once the rolling roadblock is set up. Expect congestion while the roadblock is in place.
