Asheboro Search Warrant Finds Drugs, Cash, and Gun says RCSO

ASHEBORO N.C. – Earlier this week the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office announced that a search warrant in Asheboro found drugs, cash, and a firearm.

According to a press release, on October 26, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division, along with the Criminal Interdiction Team and the Asheboro Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence located on Walnut St. in Asheboro. During that warrant, detectives located and seized Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Suboxone and items of drug paraphernalia along with US Currency and a firearm were all seized.

Randal Clay Allred, Jr., arrested and taken before the magistrate where probable cause was found for the charges of Felony Possession of Firearm by Felon, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Heroin, Felony Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession Marijuana up to ½ oz. and Misdemeanor Possession Drug Paraphernalia. He was given a $100,000 secured bond with a court date scheduled for October 27, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.

Brandon Derrick Long was served with a Misdemeanor Probation Violation and a Failure to Appear on a Misdemeanor. He was given a $3,500 secured bond with a court date also scheduled for October 27, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
