ASHEBORO N.C. - Tickets are going fast for upcoming Christmas events being hosted by the City of Asheboro including the Christmas CAROL-ing Trolley Tour and the Bantum Rooster's Rockin' Christmas Concert. Christmas CAROLing Trolley Tour Chick-fil-A and Asheboro Cultural & Recreation Services wants to get you in the holiday spirit with the Christmas CAROLing Trolley Tour! Asheboro’s ‘The Gifting Tree’ Project Starts This Week

ASHEBORO N.C. – The city of Asheboro has announced its third Annual Gifting Tree Project, and registration is underway for a limited number of trees. Organized by the City of Asheboro's Cultural & Recreation Services, the Gifting Tree Project transforms Bicentennial Park into a dazzling Christmas tree display. Local families, schools, and organizations decorate their trees in a competition to win a donation (provided by Modern Toyota) to the nonprofit of their choice. Want to participate? Registration Open for Asheboro Junior Amateur Golf Tournament

ASHEBORO N.C. - Registration is now open for the annual Junior Amateur Golf Tournament in early August. The Asheboro Municipal Golf Course will be hosting the annual Junior Amateur Golf Tournament on August 5th and August 6th, 2023. The tournament is open to any junior golfer between 7-18 years of age. Participants will be divided into three age divisions that will be determined based on the number of entrants. The entry fee is $25 for all players, which includes two rounds of golf (the number of holes in each round will be proportional to each age group) and winning trophies. Doubles Shuffleboard League for Seniors

Not completely sure how to play or keep score – don’t worry. We will go over all the rules and provide all the equipment needed. The local league is available for men and women with the only restriction being that all participants need to be 50 years old or greater. Partners can be comprised of two males, two females or one male and one female. This league will take place on Tuesday mornings during the months of May and June.
