Fire Crews Responds to Commercial Fire in Asheboro

ASHEBORO N.C. - Fire crews in Asheboro are on the scene of a commercial equipment fire that is under control at this time.
Just before 5:30 pm, Randolph County 911 dispatched Asheboro Fire/Rescue to 2503 N Fayetteville St, located near the intersection of Pineview St, at Covanta Enviromental Solutions. Callers reported a fire inside a piece of machinery at the business.
Asheboro Fire/Rescue's on scene command reported the fire under control at around 6 pm. No injuries have been reported so far.
