Couple Wanted For Carjacking In Craven County Arrested In Franklinville
ASHEBORO N.C. - A couple wanted for a carjacking in Craven county were arrested today in Franklinville after a 911 call for a suspicious person led deputies to them.
According to a press release by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on April 15th, 2022, at around 8 am, deputies were dispatched to Millboro Rd in Franklinville for a call about a suspicious person. The caller told police that a male and female were on the front porch and they looked like the subjects that had been associated with an assault and carjacking in the New Bern area of Craven County.
The Craven County Sheriff’s Office had issued warrants for both subjects for felony common law robbery, felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony assault on a disabled person. An alert had been sent out to the Randolph Co...
