ASHEBORO N.C. - Earlier this week officers with the Asheboro Police Department responding to a call about an armed person ended up chasing a juvenile who was reported missing who was carrying a gun. On July 24th 2022, officer were dispatched to Martin Luther King Jr Dr in Asheboro after 911 received a call about an armed juvenile suspect in the area. When officers arrived they located a male juvenile suspect, who due to their age remains unnamed, in front of Harrison St. According to a police report, when the responding officer saw the suspect they were aware they had been reported missing.
