Stolen Motorcycle Leads Police on Chase – Charges Catch up with Driver
ASHEBORO N.C. - Charges are catching up with the driver of a stolen motorcycle with active warrants who fled from police late last month.
In a press release the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says that on September 22nd, 2023, a deputy attempted to pull over a motorcycle on Turnpike Rd., in Archdale, but the driver failed to stop leading to a pursuit.
That chase continued to the intersection of Meadowbrook Road and Kennedy Road where the Sheriff's Office says the driver slowed down and appeared to be turning right, before losing control and crashing into a ditch on Kennedy Road across from Meadowbrook Road.
