Driver Charged with DUI After Crashing into Randleman Bar

RANDLEMAN N.C. - A driver was charged with driving under the influence last night after crashing into a bar in Randleman.  At around 10:30 p.m., Randleman Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into Red Zone Sports Bar & Grill, located at 725 S Main St, in Randleman.  Emergency crews arrived to find a dark GMC SUV that had crashed through a gate and into the east side of the building. Randolph County EMS responded to the scene to evaluate the driver, who refused transport to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.  The Randleman Police Department investigated the crash, which led to 27-year-old Peyton Alley Clark being issued a summons for driving under the influence. RANDLEMAN N.C. - Officials are saying that no one was injured during an early morning house fire in Randleman. Just after midnight on July 5th, 2023, Fire crews from Randleman, Sophia, Level Cross, and Westside Fire Departments were dispatched along with Randolph County EMS to a report of a house fire on Allred Way. Crews arrived to find a home nearly fully involved. Fire crews responded to a fully involved house fire on Allred Way in Randleman early in the morning hours of July 5th, 2023. Fire Investigators Taking A Look at Fire That Destroyed 15 Cars and Several Buildings on Idlewild Dr Ext

ASHEBORO N.C. - Fire investigators are taking a look at yesterday's fire on Idelwild Dr Ext in Randleman that destroyed several buildings and over a dozen cars. On March 14th 2022, just after 6:30 pm, fire crews were dispatched to Idlewild Dr Ext for a reported fire at a junk-yard. Fire Marshal Michael Smith with the Randleman Fire Department says around 15 vehicles, two small outbuildings, one large garage, and a mobile home were all involved. Crews from Randleman, Asheboro, Sophia, Westside, and Climax Fire Departments all responded and were able to get the fire under control in around an hour and a half, but remained on scene for overhaul and clean-up for over 5 hours.
