ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has a arrested a male and charged him with sex crimes involving a minor. According to a press release, on May 28th, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sex offense involving a minor. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Jonathan Linden Brown for three counts felony indecent liberties with a child, two counts felony statutory sex offense with child <=15, and felony statutory rape of a child under 15 years old. ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office has made two arrests in two separate cases after receiving information regarding allegations of sexual offenses involving minors. On January 13th, 2023, the Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Detectives brought charges against Bernard Joseph McSweeney for four counts of felony disseminating obscenities. ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office announced they have recently charged three individuals with sex offenses involving minors. Juan Jose Figueroa Jimenez Juan Jose Figueroa Jimenez was charged with felony crimes against nature and three counts of felony indecent liberties with a child after the Sheriff's Office received information about sexual offenses on December 15, 2021 that led them to start an investigation. On February 12, 2022, Figueroa-Jimenez was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail where he was given a $100,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for February 14, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
