Man Arrested In Connection To Assault Where He Tied Up Victim
ASHEBORO N.C. — A convicted felon was arrested yesterday in Thomasville in connection with a November assault where the Sheriff’s Office says the he broke into a home, assaulted the victim, and tied them up.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says in a press release that on November 17th 2021, their deputies were called to a home on Pisgah Covered Bridge Rd. in Asheboro after getting a call from a victim who said they had escaped being tied up at the home. The victim stated they knew the suspect and identified him as Kevin Andrew Blue. According to police Blue broke into the home, assaulted the victim and tied them up. The victim was released when another person entered the home, that's when the victim was able to flee and call 911.
