Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrest In String Of Car Break-Ins

ASHEBORO NC – A man is facing dozens of felony charges after he was arrested in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins across Randolph County. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office they received multiple calls during the first few weeks of August about vehicle break-ins in the Trinity, Thomasville and north-west Asheboro areas. They say their investigation led them to charge Franklin Lee Allen for 19 Counts of Felony Breaking or Entering into a Motor Vehicle, Felony Larceny of Firearm, Felony Possession of Stolen Firearm, 10 Counts of Misdemeanor Larceny, and 10 Counts of Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods/Property. Man Facing Felonies After Police Say He Shot Into Home

ASHEBORO NC – A Thomasville man is in jail facing multiple felonies after police say he shot into a home with several people inside. On August 12, 2021, at approximately 10:34 pm, the Randolph County Sheriff’s responded to a report of shots fired into a home on Old Mountain Rd. in Trinity. When deputies arrived, witnesses told them that someone had fired several shots into a home while several people were inside. Tractor Theft Leads To Arrest

ASHEBORO NC - A man is in jail in connection to the theft of a tractor. According to a press release by the Randolph County Sherriff's Office on October 12th, of 2020 deputies responded to a call about a stolen Kubota tractor on Tobacco Rd. in Trinity. The Randolph County Sherriff's Office released surveillance camera photos that showed a tall white male with a white truck and a trailer and asked for help from the public.
