ASHEBORO N.C. – The Asheboro Summer Concert Series is back again this year with even more dates and bands after event planners add Rock’n the Park Friday concerts to the mix.
Announced on Facebook, the post from the city of Asheboro included the dates and bands for the usual Sunday night concerts as well as 4 new Friday night concerts called Rock’n the Park.
Thanks to the generosity and support of numerous sponsors, including the Center Stage Sponsor, Amick’s Superstore, and Major Sponsors Asheboro Kubota and Grinz Orthodontics North Carolina, the 2022 Edition of the Summer Concert Series is back, along with the inaugural Rock’n the Park Friday Nights, a separate series of four Friday evening concerts.

The City’s Summer Concert Series is set to kick-off Sunday, May 15 at 7:00 pm with East Coast Rhythm and Blues Band. Rock’n the Park, hosted by Downtown Asheboro Inc., gets started Friday, May 20 at 6:00 pm with Stephanie Quayle headlining.
Both events are taking place at Bicentennial Park as usual. Admission remains free, and all concerts are still BYOLC (Bring your own lawn chair).
