Two Suspects Wanted By Police Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit In Archdale

ASHEBORO N.C. – Two individuals, both wanted by police, were involved in a 20 mile long vehicle pursuit in Archdale before being arrested yesterday.

A press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says that on May 25th, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team pulled over a vehicle near Tom Hill Rd., in Archdale. That vehicle stopped briefly before fleeing the traffic stop and leading police on a 20-mile-long pursuit.

The pursuit ended when officers were able to force the vehicle to stop near 10134 N. Main St. in Archdale. Pamela Grey Frisby, identified by police as the driver of the vehicle, was arrested at the scene. The passenger, whom police identified as Justin Brent Moran, fled on foot but was located and arrested after a short K-9 pursuit.

Police say they located narcotics and paraphernalia at the scene, but did not say if those were located on the suspects or in the vehicle. Both Frisby and Moran were wanted on other charges at the time of their arrest and were both taken to the Randolph County Jail where the magistrate found probable cause for several additional felonies and misdemeanors.
