Asheboro Search Warrant Leads to Trafficking Arrest, Drugs Seized

ASHEBORO N.C. – The Asheboro Police Department executed a search warrant at an Asheboro apartment complex last weekend leading to one person being arrested for trafficking.

According to police and arrest reports obtained by Randolph News Now, on March 4th, 2023, the Departments VICE/Narcotics unit executed a search warrant at 741 S Church St.

Police say they seized 15.1 grams of a white powder that field-tested positive as fentanyl, 22.4 grams of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia and just over $700 in cash.

One person, Tierra Meyon Johnson, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Opium/Herion by Possession as well as multiple other felony charges.

Johnson was transported to the Randolph County Jail where she was being held on a $200,000 secure bond with electronic house arrest if released.
