Five Squatters Arrested in Trinity Facing Multiple Charges

On January 21st. 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Millers Mill Rd., Trinty, in for a report of trespassing. When deputies arrived, the caller told them that several individuals were living inside the vacant residence without authorization and wished them to be removed. According to a press release, after several announcements requesting occupants to exit, the property owner provided the key for entry. Nearly 30,000 Fentanyl Pills Seized in Search Warrant

TRINITY N.C. - A search warrant issued as a part of a joint investigation located nearly 30,000 Fentanyl pills at a home in Trinity and landed one person in jail. On August 9th, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Unit and Criminal Interdiction Team, Asheboro Police Department’s Vice Unit, and the Department of Homeland Security's Investigation division (HSI), executed a search warrant on a residence located at 6503 Bellawood Dr. in Trinity. According to a press release, that search located approximately 28,400 Fentanyl pills that weighed approximately 12.5 pounds, along with U.S. Currency. As a result, Robert Gurung was arrested and transported to Randolph County Jail where the magistrate found probable cause for the multiple felony drug and trafficking charges. ...

Search Warrant Leads to Two Arrested in Randleman on Felony Drug Charges

RANDLEMAN N.C. - Two people were arrested earlier this week on felony drug charges following a search warrant at a Randleman home. On June 21st, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division concluded an investigation related to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. Detectives, assisted by the Criminal Interdiction Team and Randleman Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence located on Worthville St. in Randleman. ASHEBORO N.C. - A search warrant executed last month by the Randolph County Sheriff's Office found drugs and led to the arrest of one person. According to a press release, on January 20th, 2023, the Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division searched a residence at 935 Teresa Way in Asheboro. During the search, detectives located and seized Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, Suboxone and items of drug paraphernalia. ASHEBORO N.C. - A local man has been charged with multiple felonies after a search warrant of his home turned up enough drugs for police to seek trafficking charges. On June 9th, 2022, the Asheboro Police Departments' VICE/ Narcotics unit executed a search warrant at a home on Finchley Ct, located off Gold Hill Rd in Asheboro. According to a report from the department officers located and seized around 35 grams of Fentanyl and approximately 4.5 grams of cocaine and marijuana, along with cash, scales, baggies, and other paraphernalia. ASHEBORO N.C. - An investigation into fentanyl by the Randolph County Sheriff's Office resulted to a multi-agency drug investigation leading to a Randolph County man facing felony trafficking charges. According to a press release by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on April 1st, 2022, the Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that police say was operated by Jarvis James Siler. During a search of that vehicle the Sheriff's Office says they found a trafficking amount of Fentanyl and MDMA (the active ingredient in Ecstasy) was seized.
