ASHEBORO N.C. – One person was taken to the hospital after flipping his motorcycle in Trinity last night.
According to information released by the State Highway Patrol, on Tuesday, March 21 st , 2023, at 8:17 pm Troopers responded to the report of a crash that occurred on Mt. Gilead Church Road near Hoover Hill Road in Randolph County.
Justin Gray Hall, aged thirty-six, from Sandy Ridge, N.C., was traveling west on Mt. Gilead Church Road operating a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Troopers say he traveled left of center and left the roadway causing his motorcycle to overturn.
Hall suffered serious injuries and was transported to Moses H. Cone hospital in Greensboro.
The Highway Patrol says the crash is still under investigation and Troopers are uncertain as to what caused Hall to travel off the roadway.
Mt. Gilead Church Road was closed for approximately one hour during the investigation, Troopers cleared the scene at 9:32 p.m.
