No One Injured in Crash Involving Randolph County School Bus This Morning

TRINITY N.C. – Troopers with the N.C. Highway Patrol say no one was injured in a school bus crash involving a Randolph County School Bus early this morning in Trinity.

According to a press release from the Highway Patrol, at 7:41 a.m. on Thursday, October 12th, 2023, Troopers responded to the report of a crash involving an elementary school bus operated by Randolph County School System at the intersection of Edgar Road at Pliney Farlow Road.

Troopers say their investigation found that the driver of a Hoda Civic attempted to make a left turn from Pliney Farlow Road onto Edgar Road but failed to yield for the bus causing the vehicles to collide at the intersection.

None of the twenty-two students aboard, or either of the drivers, were injured in the crash.

The driver of the Honda Civic, identified by the Highway patrol as eighteen-year-old Paris Noelle Ford, from Trinity, N.C. was charged with failure to yield.
