Narcotics Investigation Leads to Seizure of 8 lbs of Cocaine One Arrest

ASHEBORO N.C. – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says a recent narcotics investigation in Seagrove led to the seizure of eight pounds of cocaine and the arrest of one suspect.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, on September 11, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation related to the distribution of Cocaine in the Seagrove area of
Randolph County.

That investigation led to Detectives locating and seizing approximately eight pounds of Cocaine and arrested Octavius Cornelius Spinks at a residence on Osborne Mill Rd.

Spinks was transported to Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of two counts of felony trafficking in cocaine. He received a $100,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for September 12, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
