Asheboro Police Looking for Two Suspects who Used Traffic Vest to Steal TVs

ASHEBORO N.C. – The Asheboro Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying who suspects who they say used a traffic vest to steal two TVs from Wal-Mart.

According to a report from the department on the afternoon of December 24th, 2023, an officer was called to the Asheboro Wal-Mart. A loss prevention officer told the officers that the day prior two unidentified black males had come into the store and taken two televisions without paying.

In photos released on Facebook one of the suspects can be seen in a traffic vest pushing TVs in a car through the store.

Loss prevention told officers the suspects loaded the TVs into a grey in color van before leaving the area.
