ASHEBORO N.C. – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says they have charged a woman with Felony Death by Distribution this week in connection with a fatal overdose that occured back in March.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, on March 17th, 2022, Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene investigators responded to Erik Dr, in Trinity for a fatal overdose
That investigation led them to obtain a warrant for Ivey Tatum Elswick for Felony Death by Distribution on June 20, 2022.
On June 21, 2022, Elswick was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail where she was served her warrant and was issued a $30,000 secure bond and a first appearance was set for June 23, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
