Just before 5 p.m. Randolph County 911, dispatched an EMS unit to the intersection of N Elm St and Brewer St, in Asheboro, for a standby for a possible gunshot wound. Initial unconfirmed reports indicate that an individual arrived at the Emergency Room suffering from a gunshot wound, which may have occurred at a home near the intersection of N Elm St and Brewer St Police locked down the area where they believe the victim was shot and began a search for a second victim as well as evidence. On June 24, 2023, at 11:23 PM, officers with the Asheboro Police Department responded to a report of gunshots fired in the 800 block of Salem Court. Randolph County 911 advised responding officers that multiple people had been shot. Three victims were found at the scene and transported by EMS to a local medical facility. An additional victim arrived at the facility after being transported by personal vehicle. Police investigate a shooting late during the night on Monday Aug 1st 2022 [Scott Pelkey | Acme News] ASHEBORO N.C. - Investigators with the Asheboro Police Department spent the night piecing together what led to shots being fired at Frazier Park last night. On August 1st, 2022, just after 10pm, patrol officers with the Asheboro Police Department were dispatched to Frazier Park, located at 517 West Wainman Avenue, after receiving a call about shots fired in the area. When officers arrived, they located a juvenile and a male identified as Heleodoro Juarez-Garcia in the park. Just after 8pm, police, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched to Cross St for a call about a gunshot wound. Within minutes Randolph County 911 received a 2nd call for a gunshot wound on nearby Frank St. Randolph County EMS transported and unknown number of people from the scene. Randolph Hospital's emergency room was temporarily placed on lockdown with Deputies from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office stationed out front and on White Oak st. ASHEBORO N.C. (ACME NEWS) – One person is dead today after shots rang out at a party late last night in Randleman. What we have learned today is that on January 8th 2022, a private party was being held at a residence on Leonae Drive in Randleman. At around 10:30 p.m. approximately 20 people who weren't invited showed up and just an hour and fifteen minutes later at 11:45 p.m., a fight broke out in the front yard. During that fight multiple gunshots were fired by an unknown subject. The shooter fled the scene along with most of the guests immediately following the shooting.
