DENTON NC - The Amber Alert issued for a missing 14-year-old from Davidson County has been canceled after she was located and will be returning to North Carolina after a harrowing experience.  Savannah Childress, was reported missing on Feb. 11 from her home in southern Davidson County. An Amber Alert was issued on Feb 15th  Investigators had discovered that Savannah was using her Davidson County Schools issued computer to communicate with an individual using multiple online platforms. As the investigation progressed investigators discovered the same individual was also talking to several other juvenile females in Alamance County. Savannah is 5’6″ and weighs 136 pounds with brown shoulder-length hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow Mickey Mouse hooded sweatshirt. She was last seen in the Canaan Church Rd area of Denton on Thursday, February 11, 2021. She was last seen An Amber Alert was issued earlier this week for Savannah Monday night.She requires medication for a variety of medical issues and does not have any with her. Veh Chase / Manhunt - Farmer - 012021 ASHEBORO NC (ACME NEWS) - Deputies with the Davidson and Randolph County Sheriff's offices and Troopers with the N.C. Highway Patrol are asking for help locating an armed suspect who fled on foot at the end of a high-speed chase.
