Field of Honor Asheboro (Scott Pelkey / Acme News Archive) ASHEBORO N.C. – Join the Asheboro Rotary Club and the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce as they present a panorama of Stars and Stripes as part of the 8th annual Field of Honor. From Friday, November 10, through Sunday, November 12, the baseball field at South Asheboro Middle School will once again be transformed into the Field of Honor with 500 U.S. flags posted in perfect rows and columns in tribute of heroes. The public may sponsor flags in recognition of those heroes, including veterans, active duty service men and women, first responders, and any personal heroes or heroines. Asheboro Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce join together for Field of Honor

ASHEBORO N.C. – The Asheboro Rotary Club and the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce will come together to put on the 6th annual Field of Honor later this month. Starting on Friday, November 11th, and running through Sunday, November 13, the baseball field at South Asheboro Middle School will covered with 500 U.S. flags in recognition of veterans, active-duty service men and women, and first responders. Throughout the weekend, the public will be able to visit the Field of Honor and walk among the flags anytime, day or night. From Friday, November 11, through Sunday, November 13, the baseball field at South Asheboro Middle School will be transformed into the Field of Honor with U.S. flags posted in perfect rows and columns in tribute of heroes. The public will be able to sponsor flags in recognition of their heroes, including veterans, active-duty service men and women, first responders, and any personal heroes. More information about buying flags, the opening and closing ceremonies, and sponsorships will be provided in the coming weeks.
