Suspect Arrested In Connection With Franklinville Break-Ins

ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested a suspect in connection with the vandalism and burglary of a church and burglary of a local convenience store in Franklinville. According to a press release on April 6th, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office responded to West Main Street inFranklinville after getting a call about vandalism that occured at a church. Just two days later deputies were called back to the same church for a burglary.From speaking with the 911 caller they learned that an unknown subject had forcibly broken into the church fellowship hall and had gone through the storage room and all of the closets. according to the Sheriff's Office the suspect had damaged parts of the building during the break in. Around 1 AM, Randolph County 911 received a call about several shots being fired on Arrow St at the Town and Country Mobile Home Park on Hwy 64 West. According to police radio traffic, the caller reported someone was laying on the ground.
