Woman Charged With Selling Drugs At Local High School

ASHEBORO N.C. - A local woman was arrested after police say she was possibly attempting to sell narcotics at a local high school. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on April 27th, 2022, School Resource Officer received information that a female was possibly attempting to sell narcotics in the parking lot of Wheatmore High School. Two Seperate Burglary Suspects Caught Red Handed By Homeowner, Arrested

ASHEBORO N.C. - Two separate homeowners caught burglary suspects red handed before they tried to flee and were arrested by police. On April 18, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to McNeal St, in Asheboro for a report of a burglary in progress. Man Arrested Following Police Chase of Motorcycle

ASHEBORO N.C. - Police say they arrested a man following a vehicle chase where he tried to flee on foot after the motorcycle he was driving without a license or plate broke down during the chase. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says on April 23rd, 2022, they were involved in a pursuit with a male on a motorcycle on Roseway Rd. in Trinity after he tried to flee from police who had tried to pull him over. Woman Arrested On Warrant For Vehicle Theft Pepper Sprays Officer

ASHEBORO N.C. - A woman is facing additional charges after she pepper sprayed an officer while being arrested on an outstanding warrant. On April 14, 2022, Asheboro Police Department arrested Kristi Jo Moss Hodge on multiple outstanding warrants and orders for arrest. Officers located evidence during the arrest that linked Hodge to an April 12th vehicle theft in Ramseur that the Randolph County Sheriff's Office was investigating. ASHEBORO N.C. - A couple wanted for a carjacking in Craven county were arrested today in Franklinville after a 911 call for a suspicious person led deputies to them. According to a press release by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on April 15th, 2022, at around 8 am, deputies were dispatched to Millboro Rd in Franklinville for a call about a suspicious person.
