Search Warrant at Asheboro Apartment finds Drugs, One Arrested

Summers Run Apartments - Archive Photo / PJ WARD-BROWN/NORTH STATE JOURNAL ASHEBORO N.C. - The Asheboro Police Department's VICE/Narcotics unit served a search warrant at an Asheboro apartment complex late last month that located a large amount of drugs and led to the arrest of a suspect. According to a police report from the department, on June 28th, 2023, the VICE/Narcotics along with members of the Special Enforcment Team executed a search warrant at Summer Run apartments located at 2159 N. Fayetteville St. That search led to police seizing 145 grams of cocaine, US Currency, and drug paraphernalia. Asheboro Police Chase Vehicle Break-In Suspects to Greensboro

ASHEBORO N.C. - Asheboro Police Officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit after trying to pull over a suspect they believe was connected to several vehicle break-ins at a local apartment complex last week. According to information from the Asheboro Police Department, officers were notified of several 911 calls reporting at least five vehicles broken into at Summers Run Apartments. Police say they were able to determine the suspect's vehicle. That vehicle, which had been reported stolen out of Greensboro, was spotted and sped away when officers attempted to pull it over on a traffic stop. Asheboro PD Chases Vehicle into Guilford County, Asks for Help from Public

ASHEBORO N.C. - Police in Asheboro investigating a possible vehicle break-in at a local apartment complex found themselves in a vehicle chase. Now police are asking for information from the public to help identify the suspects as well as solve a string of vehicle break-ins. On November 30th, 2022, at around 3 am an officer from the Asheboro Police Department was patrolling in the 2100 block of North Fayetteville Street. According to a statement from the police department, the officer observed two males dressed in dark clothes walking east in the parking lot of Summers Run Apartments.
