Randolph County Sheriff's Office (Parinna Drive, Trinity) According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, on December 14th, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division searched a residence located at 5631 Parinna Drive in Trinity. According to a police report from the Asheboro Police Department, during the month of October 2022 the Department's VICE/ Narcotics UNIT investigated Anthony Terrell Little for distributing narcotics in the City of Asheboro. VICE Conducts Search Warrant, Finds Drugs & Guns at Asheboro Home

ASHEBORO N.C. - The Asheboro Police Department VICE/ Narcotics unit conducted a search warrant at the home of a man on house arrest in Asheboro where they say they found drugs and guns. On Feb 8th 2022, the VICE/Narcotics unit along with the Special Enforcement Team of the Asheboro Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on Lakeview Rd. Police had obtained a search warrant for the home as well as for Jamie Edward York and Laura Elizabeth Dawson. Police say when executing a search warrant they located 3 firearms, including 2 handguns,one of which was determined to be stolen, and a sawed off shotgun. VICE Investigated Drug Violation At Motel 6 Days Before Fatal Overdose

ASHEBORO NC - Today we learned that Asheboro Police Departments VICE/Narcotics unit responded to a reported drug violation at the Asheboro Motel 6 just five days before a fatal overdose. John Chester Reed According to a police report the Vice/Narcotics unit responded to the Motel 6 in Asheboro on August 20th 2021 for a reported drug violation. Detectives made contact with several individuals staying in one of the rooms and were able to get consent to search the room. Police say that search located and seized marijuana and suspected heroin/fenchyl. As we reported last month, just five days later on August 25th, detectives would respond to a fatal overdose at the motel, the 240th 911 incident at the motel to date.
