Two Search Warrants Lead to Arrest of Three

ASHEBORO N.C. – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office executed two search warrants in connection with drug trafficking in the county, leading to the arrest of three individuals.

On April 25, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division searched a residence located on Shaw St. in Randleman. During the search, Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia. As a result, a warrant for arrest was sought on Jordan Lamar Coble for felony trafficking in methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and misdemeanor possess drug paraphernalia.

On May 8, 2023, Jordan Coble was apprehended by the Randleman Police Department and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center. He was served with his warrant for arrest and given a $500,000 secured bond with a court date scheduled for May 9, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.

On May 4, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division concluded an investigation related to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. Detectives, assisted by members of the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence located on Callicutt Henley Rd. in Asheboro. During the course of the search, Detectives located and seized a Trafficking amount of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Clonazepam and drug paraphernalia. Also seized during the search was a firearm and US Currency. As a result, James Anthony Bullard and James Coleman Hughes were placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center.

James Bullard was charged with Felony Trafficking in Heroin, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II, Felony Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia and Misdemeanor Simple Possess Schedule IV. He received a $500,000.00 Secured Bond with a court date scheduled for May 5, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.

James Hughes was charged with Felony Possess Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Possess Marijuana Paraphernalia. He received a $10,000.00 Secured Bond with a court date scheduled for May 5, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
