ASHEBORO N.C. – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office announced a joint investigation into the solicitation of minors that resulted in the arrest of nineteen individuals.
On August 3, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division concluded a
joint investigation involving multiple agencies that included the Department of Homeland Security Investigations (DHS-HSI), Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (Army CID), Department of the Navy, Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI), North Carolina Department of Adult Correction Probation / Parole, Davie, Rockingham, Catawba, Davidson, Moore, Cabarrus, Cleveland, and Alamance County Sheriff’s Offices, and the Liberty, Winston-Salem, Salisbury, Gaston County, Mayodan, and Nashville Police Departments.
That investigation led to ninteen individuals being charged and arrested (see the full list below).
The Sheriff’s Office says investigations are ongoing and additional details will be available at a later date.
