Woman Arrested for Felony Trafficking After Police Locate 8lbs of Heroin

RANDLEMAN N.C. – A Virginia woman has been arrested and is facing felony trafficking charges after police say the located over eight pounds of heroin in her vehicle.

On September 30th, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 73/74 in Randleman.

According to a press release, during that traffic stop deputies searched the vehicle and say they located and seized approximately 8 ½ pounds of heroin.

The suspect, identified by the Sheriff’s Office as Lori Kristen Price of Roanoke, VA, was arrested and transported to Randolph County Jail. A magistrate found probable cause for the charges of two counts of Trafficking in Heroin.

She received a $1,000,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for October 2, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
