Daylight Theft Of Generator, Sherriff’s Office Seeks Help Identifying Suspects
ASHEBORO NC - The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public's help in identifying two suspects in a daylight theft of a generator from a local business.
On June 23, 2021, the Sheriff’s Office responded to James River Equipment on US HWY 64 E for a call about larceny. A white male had entered the store, picked up a Honda generator, then ran out of the business with it, before getting into a tan or gold hatchback / Chevrolet Equinox. That vehicle fled the parking lot and made a left onto US 64 and then another left on Presnell St. A white female was seen in the front passenger seat and a handicap placard was hanging from the rearview mirror.
