Armed Suspect Leads Police on High-Speed Chase

ASHEBORO N.C. - A High Point man is facing multiple felonies after hitting a patrol car during a high-speed chase. According to a press release by the Asheboro Police Department, on Monday, March 22nd, 2021, just before 6 PM officers with the Asheboro Police Department responded to the area of 281 Tremont Drive, for a call about a domestic disturbance. Officers say when they arrived, they found Bradley Allen Byers armed with a handgun. Byers fled the scene in a blue Dodge pickup-truck. Additional responding officers were able to locate Byers nearby and conducted a traffic stop. After pulling over, police say Byers got out of the vehicle armed with a handgun and refused to follow commands. Byers then re-entered his vehicle and sped-off, leading officers on a high-speed pursuit. ...

Multi-Agency Drug Bust Leaves 2 In Federal Custody

ASHEBORO NC - A multi-agency drug bust led to a Randleman home being searched ending with two individuals in federal custody. According to a press release by the Randolph County Sherriff's Office, deputies with the Vice and Narcotics Division assisted by the Winston Salem Police Department, Asheboro Police Department, Randleman Police Department, NC State Bureau of Investigation and US Drug Enforcement Administration concluded an investigation related to the distribution of Methamphetamine in the Randleman area. Vehicle Stop Leads To Trafficing Charges For Texas Man

Juan Gabriel-Molina Gonzales ASHEBORO NC - A Texas man is facing felony drug trafficking charges after deputies say they found over 5 lbs. of cocaine in his vehicle during a traffic stop. According to a press release by the Randolph County Sherriff's Office on March 11th, 2021, deputies with the Sherriff's Offices Highway Criminal Interdiction Team pulled over a vehicle on I-85 in Trinity that was registered out of Texas. At some point during the stop, deputies searched the vehicle and say they discovered approximately 2,376.5 grams (5.2 pounds) of Cocaine and US Currency. The driver of the vehicle, Juan Gabriel-Molina Gonzales, was transported to Randolph County Detention Center and charged with two counts of Felony Trafficking in Cocaine. ASHEBORO NC - According to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office a local man has been charged with Disseminating Obscene Material to Minors. A press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says the Criminal Investigation Division Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) division received information that an individual by the name of Justin Christopher McKinney was Disseminating Obscene Material to Minors. Liberty Man Arrested On Trafficking Charges

ASHEBORO NC - A Liberty man was arrested in a parking lot in Staley on drug trafficking charges. That's according to a press release by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. They say on March 10th, 2021, the departments Vice and Narcotics Division concluded an investigation related to the distribution of Cocaine in the Liberty / Staley area. Detectives executed a search warrant at an address in Liberty. A search warrant was also executed on a vehicle that was parked at a business in Staley. During the search, detectives say they located and seized a trafficking amount of Cocaine, items of drug paraphernalia, and US Currency. ASHEBORO NC - A man is in jail in connection to the theft of a tractor. According to a press release by the Randolph County Sherriff's Office on October 12th, of 2020 deputies responded to a call about a stolen Kubota tractor on Tobacco Rd. in Trinity. The Randolph County Sherriff's Office released surveillance camera photos that showed a tall white male with a white truck and a trailer and asked for help from the public. Traffic Stop Finds Fugitive, Guns, Counterfeit Cash

Tevin Kade Guillory ASHEBORO NC - A wanted fugitive out of Louisiana was arrested and faces additional charges. According to a press release on January 21, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 85. Deputies searched the vehicle which led to the seizure of a firearm and counterfeit currency. The passenger of the vehicle, Tevin Kade Guillory, was also found to be a fugitive out of Louisiana.
