Two Suspects Wanted By Police Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit In Archdale

ASHEBORO N.C. - Two individuals, both wanted by police, were involved in a 20 mile long vehicle pursuit in Archdale before being arrested yesterday. A press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says that on May 25th, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team pulled over a vehicle near Tom Hill Rd., in Archdale. That vehicle stopped briefly before fleeing the traffic stop and leading police on a 20-mile-long pursuit. The pursuit ended when officers were able to force the vehicle to stop near 10134 N. Main St. in Archdale. Pamela Grey Frisby, identified by police as the driver of the vehicle, was arrested at the scene. [UPDATE] Suspect Charged With Murder After Victim Found Unconscious In Home Dies

ASHEBORO N.C. - A suspect has been charged with Felony Assault after police say the found a victim unconscious in a home in Ramseur. According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on May 23rd, 2022, deputies with the patrol division responded to Fox Grove Rd., in Ramseur, after getting a call about an assault. When emergency crews arrived they located the victim unconscious inside the residence. Fire and EMS provided medical treatment before transporting the victim to an area hospital. Fugitive From Randolph County Captured by Bondsman In West Virginia

ASHEBORO N.C. - A Randolph County man wanted for escaping house arrest was located in West Virginia this week where he was captured by a local bail bond company. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on April 28th, 2022, the Electronic House Arrest Officers received notification that Jerry Allen Harlow, Jr. had removed his monitoring device. Harlow was placed on electronic house arrest on September 10th, 2020, for multiple Felony Sex Offenses. Deputies responded and were able to locate the monitoring device along the roadway near Harlow's registered address on Harlow Rd., in Archdale. Police Say Unconscious Driver Found In Stolen Vehicle Arrested

ASHEBORO N.C. - Police say they arrested a driver found unconscious in a stolen vehicle sitting in traffic in Trinity last week. According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on May 21st, 2022, they responded to the intersection of Meadowbrook Dr. and NC-62 in Trinity, A 911 caller reported an unconscious driver in a vehicle blocking traffic. When a deputy arrived, they found a white SUV with an unconscious male in the driver seat. On May 21, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Hillsdale Park Drive, in Sophia, after getting a call about a breaking and entering in progress. The caller told 911 a male subject, who arrived on a moped, was inside the garage. When deputies arrived they saw the suspect attempting to start the moped. The Sheriff's Office says when they approached the suspect he refused to obey verbal commands and attempted to drive away on the moped. Driver Seriously Injured In Single Vehicle Accident Overnight on Hwy 64

According to the NC Highway Patrol, just before 2 am on May 20th 2022, Troopers were called to a single vehicle accident on US Hwy 64 near Mount Shepherd Rd. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Juan De Medina-Garcia of Asheboro, was traveling west on US Hwy 64 when he went off the right side of the roadway, over corrected, before traveling off the road on the left side of the roadway and overturning. Randleman Meth Investigation Leads To Drugs Seized, Felony Trafficking Charges

ASHEBORO N.C. - The Randolph County Sheriff's Office announced that an investigation into meth distribution in Randleman led to them seizing a large quantity of drugs and charging a local man with multiple counts of felony trafficking. According to a press release, on May 10th 2022, detectives, along with the Criminal Interdiction Team, executed a search warrant at a home on Cecil Norman Rd. in Randleman. According to the Sheriff's Office during that search warrant detectives located and seized approximately 315.5 grams of Heroin, approximately 2,101.1 grams (4.6 pounds) of Methamphetamine, approximately 74.8 grams of Cocaine, approximately 338 grams of Marijuana and approximately 10.3 grams of Mushrooms. Asheboro Police Make Arrest After Stabbing

ASHEBORO N.C. - A local man is in jail under a one million dollar bond after police say he stabbed a victim multiple times on Sunday. Officers with Asheboro Police Department responded to Pelican Snowballs on Sunday May 8th 2022, after a child ran into the business reporting their mother had been stabbed. Officers responded to the business as well as a residence on Washington Ave. There they located they victim, identified as Renalta Smith, who had been stabbed multiple times. Smith was transported by EMS to a local medical facility. Police say after receiving a tip they were able to located the suspect identified as Kelly Lashaun Wiley, at the Dollar General on Zoo Parkway.
