Two Suspects Wanted By Police Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit In Archdale

ASHEBORO N.C. - Two individuals, both wanted by police, were involved in a 20 mile long vehicle pursuit in Archdale before being arrested yesterday. A press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says that on May 25th, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team pulled over a vehicle near Tom Hill Rd., in Archdale. That vehicle stopped briefly before fleeing the traffic stop and leading police on a 20-mile-long pursuit. The pursuit ended when officers were able to force the vehicle to stop near 10134 N. Main St. in Archdale. Pamela Grey Frisby, identified by police as the driver of the vehicle, was arrested at the scene. ASHEBORO N.C. - Two adults and a juvenile have been charged in connection with an armed robbery of the Biz Center on US Hwy 311 in Archdale last month. On March 25th, 2022, at approximately 6:28 am, deputies responded to an armed robbery at the Biz Center on US Hwy 311 in Archdale. According to the Sheriff's Department surveillance video showed one black male enter the business followed by two additional black males One suspect robbed a customer of the business of money and a cell phone while the other two suspects pointed a gun to an employee demanding cash and other items. A few seconds later, all three males entered the office, two of which were holding guns and pointing them at the employee, forcing him back into the gaming area to remove all additional cash from the machines. ...

ASHEBORO N.C. - A convicted felon on probation was arrested after police say a search of his home found guns, ammo, and drugs. On December 7th, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office was called to Raymond Gray Lane, in Archdale, to assist NC Probation and Parole in searching the home of Stan Millikan Davis, Jr., a convicted felon on probation for drug charges out of Guilford County. During that search police say they found marijuana, firearms and ammunition. The campus wide lockdown drill is planned for Thursday, October 14, between 12 PM and 4 PM for both the Asheboro and Archdale campuses. Messages sent to students and staff on campus, heard on loudspeakers, and received via RCC Alerts will NOT say test or drill. Everyone on campus at the time is requested to and follow all protocols and procedures for an active shooter / threat. Officials at the community college are requesting everyone be aware that the drill is only a test but that all alarms and alerts should be taken seriously and is requesting everyone be prepared to respond appropriately.

According to information from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office on October 2, 2021, a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle on Hwy 311 near Shean Dr in Archdale. Police say the driver immediately sped off starting a vehicle pursuit. The chase left 311 on to Tom Hill Rd then on to Trinity Rd. and NC HWY 62. That's when police say the driver lost control of the vehicle near the 5200 block of NC HWY 62 leaving the roadway and colliding with trees. ASHEBORO NC - On the night of June 15th the Randolph County Sherriff's office arrested one man for allegedly stealing a car and another for trying to destroy evidence. According to a press release, on June 15, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Danny Bell Rd for a report of a stolen car. The victim identified Jesse Lee Thompson as the suspect. At around 11:46 pm, deputies located the stolen car at a house in the Poole Rd. area of Archdale. While the deputies were in the home, they saw a crystal-like substance on the table in the kitchen with multiple syringes. ASHEBORO NC- Deputies with the Randolph County Sheriff's office arrested a couple in the parking lot of the Sherriff's office in Archdale Office last Thursday. According to information from the Sherriff's office, on April 15, 2021, deputies encountered a vehicle in the parking lot of the satellite Sheriff’s Office in Archdale. The female driver, who police identified as Stephanie Kay Shackleford, was yelling and appeared to be impaired. The passenger, whom police identified as Jason Wayne Moss, was found to have a warrant for Failure to Appear on charges of Obtaining Property by False Pretense and Misdemeanor Larceny and was placed under arrest.
