According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, on November 26th, 2023, deputies responded to a reported robbery on NC Hwy 134, in Asheboro. The victim told investigators that he was asked by someone he knew to meet in the parking lot of a business and that when he arrived, he was robbed by two males and two females. The victim also reported that one of the male suspects fired a single round from a handgun at him during the robbery. ASHEBORO N.C. - Asheboro Police are investigating an armed robbery after a delivery driver was robbed at knife point late Sunday night. According to a report from the Asheboro Police Department, just after 10pm on October 15th, 2023, officers responded to Tucker St for a report of an armed robbery. The victim, a pizza delivery driver told officers that two black males had put a knife to his throat and robbed him of the pizzas he was delivering, his cell phone, and cash from his vehicle. Officials with the police department say the case is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division.

According to a report by the Asheboro Police Department on March 20th, 2023, at 11:57pm, officers responded to Ravenwood Dr located in the Franklin Village Mobile Home Park off North Fayetteville St in North Asheboro after receiving a report of a robbery. Officers spoke with the victim who stated he was working as a surveyor in the area for USIC, an underground utility company. ASHEBORO N.C. - Detectives with the Asheboro Police Department are investigating after the Hardees in Asheboro was robbed at gunpoint in the middle of the day. On January 5th, 2023, just before 3pm, officers responded to the Hardee’s located at 457 East Dixie Drive in reference to a panic alarm. According to Asst Police Chief Robbie Brown with the Asheboro Police Department, while officers were enroute communications advised the business had been robbed. ASHEBORO N.C. - A 911 call about an armed robbery in progress in Asheboro led to three people being arrested, two on prostitution charges. A police report from the Asheboro Police Department says that just after 8 pm on Monday June 13th 2022, a 911 caller reported that a male had a gun and was trying to rob them at a home on Ross St. When officers arrived they found a car and a pickup truck facing each other in the driveway of the home with 2 males standing outside the passenger car and a male and a female inside the pickup truck. ASHEBORO NC - Police arrested a suspect they say robbed a man at gunpoint on the side of the road in Asheboro last week. Just before noon on Wednesday, August 04th, 2021, officers with the Asheboro Police Department responded to the intersection of Brewer St and Spring St in Asheboro, after getting a call about an armed robbery. According to a police report when officers arrived they spoke with the victim who who told them a black Buick had stopped beside him while he was walking.
