(ACME NEWS) - A woman was arrested Friday night on multiple felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic violations after police say she led them on a vehicle chased that ended in a crash in the Archdale/Trinity area. A press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says that on June 10, 2022, a deputy tried to pull over a driver near Trinity Road. That driver refused to stop and led police on a high speed vehicle chase. ASHEBORO N.C. - A driver is facing multiple charges after police say instead of pulling over he gave them the bird before he tried to flee, crashing his motorcycle, and trying to run from the scene last Friday. According to a report from the Asheboro Police Department on June 10th 2022, an officer and trainee working with the departments patrol division spotted a white male on a motorcycle on N. Fayetteville St. near E. Burns St. The report says officers witnessed the driver swerve towards the right of the road at Presnell St before swearing back on to N. Fayetteville St. Officer say when they activated their lights and siren behind the motorcycle on N. ASHEBORO N.C. - Two individuals, both wanted by police, were involved in a 20 mile long vehicle pursuit in Archdale before being arrested yesterday. A press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says that on May 25th, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team pulled over a vehicle near Tom Hill Rd., in Archdale. That vehicle stopped briefly before fleeing the traffic stop and leading police on a 20-mile-long pursuit. The pursuit ended when officers were able to force the vehicle to stop near 10134 N. Main St. in Archdale. Pamela Grey Frisby, identified by police as the driver of the vehicle, was arrested at the scene. ASHEBORO N.C. - Police say they arrested a man following a vehicle chase where he tried to flee on foot after the motorcycle he was driving without a license or plate broke down during the chase. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says on April 23rd, 2022, they were involved in a pursuit with a male on a motorcycle on Roseway Rd. in Trinity after he tried to flee from police who had tried to pull him over. The driver who identified in a press release as Michael Richard English, was forced to bail on foot on Beeson Farm Rd, after his motorcycle "developed mechanical issues". ASHEBORO N.C. - A man who led police on a vehicle chase was arrested early Saturday morning after police pulled over the "getaway vehicle" that had come to pick him up. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, on March 19, 2022, at around 3:00 am, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Deputy tried to pull over a motorcycle on Finch Farm Rd., in the Trinity area. The driver failed to stop and a led police on a chase. On Bescher Chapel Road the driver fled into a field, ditched the motorcycle and fled on foot. According to a press release by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on March 4th, 2022, a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle near Howard Mill Rd and Bennett Rd. Police say the driver sped up and led police on a short vehicle chase that ended when the driver turned on to Waddell's Ferry Rd. and ended up on the dirt and gravel portion of the road near the Deep River when the vehicle became disabled. ASHEBORO N.C. - A wanted suspect who led police on a vehicle chase near Ramseur in which they crashed into a camper before getting away was arrested by the Criminal Apprehension Team this week. On February 3, 2022, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Deputy on patrol saw a vehicle at a gas station outside of Ramseur that they knew was driven by Randall Ray Burgess, who had outstanding Orders for Arrest. Police say when the approached the vehicle, Burgess attempted to drive away onto Lee Layne Rd. The deputy attempted to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop but police say Burgess refused to stop and led police on a pursuit. According to a press release, on February 5th 2022, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was traveling US 64 West when they were almost struck head on after a driver passed another vehicle in a no passing zone. The deputy flipped around and attempted pull over the driver who refused to stop and led police on a high speed vehicle chase. ASHEBORO N.C. — A vehicle chase involving a suspect driving a stolen vehicle in Asheboro last Saturday ended after that suspect crashed, ran from police before being caught and was arrested. According to information from the Asheboro Police Department Officer Bym attempted to pull over a 2015 Red Kia Rio which had been reported stolen to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. Police say the vehicle failed to stop and attempted to flee starting a vehicle pursuit. That pursuit only went for 6.2 miles before ending after the vehicle crashed near a home in the 3500 block of NC Hwy 42. The suspect was able to flee on foot but was arrested after a short foot chase. Police identified the suspect as 29 year-old Hunter Nichols from Franklinville.
