ASHEBORO NC (RCSO PRESS RELEASE)- On February 4, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division conducted an investigation resulting in a subsequent search of the residence of Matthew Chad Blake, located on Emmanuel Church Rd., Asheboro. Detectives located and seized Heroin, Methamphetamine, Alprazolam and items of drug paraphernalia. A firearm was also located and seized. According to a press release the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) received information that an individual by the name of Luis Armando Diaz-Otero was possessing/producing numerous child pornography files. In the early morning hours of Jan. 7th, 2020, the suspect, twenty-one-year-old Troy Chase Caster, who was being sought by police in Rowan county for allegedly robbing a female cab driver at gunpoint led deputies on a chase from Rowan County through Stanly County and Davidson County and into Randolph County. Traffic Stop Finds Fugitive, Guns, Counterfeit Cash

Tevin Kade Guillory ASHEBORO NC - A wanted fugitive out of Louisiana was arrested and faces additional charges. According to a press release on January 21, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 85. Deputies searched the vehicle which led to the seizure of a firearm and counterfeit currency. The passenger of the vehicle, Tevin Kade Guillory, was also found to be a fugitive out of Louisiana.
