(ACME NEWS) - A woman was arrested Friday night on multiple felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic violations after police say she led them on a vehicle chased that ended in a crash in the Archdale/Trinity area. A press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says that on June 10, 2022, a deputy tried to pull over a driver near Trinity Road. That driver refused to stop and led police on a high speed vehicle chase. According to 911 radio traffic the driver of the vehicle turned on to Fairview Church Road and then on to Flora Mae Drive where the suspects vehicle lost control at the top of a hill on Flora Mae Drive leading to the vehicle rolling over. ASHEBORO N.C. - A driver is facing multiple charges after police say instead of pulling over he gave them the bird before he tried to flee, crashing his motorcycle, and trying to run from the scene last Friday. According to a report from the Asheboro Police Department on June 10th 2022, an officer and trainee working with the departments patrol division spotted a white male on a motorcycle on N. Fayetteville St. near E. Burns St. The report says officers witnessed the driver swerve towards the right of the road at Presnell St before swearing back on to N. Fayetteville St. Officer say when they activated their lights and siren behind the motorcycle on N. Two Suspects Wanted By Police Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit In Archdale

ASHEBORO N.C. - Two individuals, both wanted by police, were involved in a 20 mile long vehicle pursuit in Archdale before being arrested yesterday. A press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office says that on May 25th, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team pulled over a vehicle near Tom Hill Rd., in Archdale. That vehicle stopped briefly before fleeing the traffic stop and leading police on a 20-mile-long pursuit. The pursuit ended when officers were able to force the vehicle to stop near 10134 N. Main St. in Archdale. Pamela Grey Frisby, identified by police as the driver of the vehicle, was arrested at the scene. ASHEBORO N.C. - A suspect has been charged with Felony Assault after police say the found a victim unconscious in a home in Ramseur. According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on May 23rd, 2022, deputies with the patrol division responded to Fox Grove Rd., in Ramseur, after getting a call about an assault. When emergency crews arrived they located the victim unconscious inside the residence. Fire and EMS provided medical treatment before transporting the victim to an area hospital. ASHEBORO N.C. - A Randolph County man wanted for escaping house arrest was located in West Virginia this week where he was captured by a local bail bond company. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on April 28th, 2022, the Electronic House Arrest Officers received notification that Jerry Allen Harlow, Jr. had removed his monitoring device. Harlow was placed on electronic house arrest on September 10th, 2020, for multiple Felony Sex Offenses. Deputies responded and were able to locate the monitoring device along the roadway near Harlow's registered address on Harlow Rd., in Archdale. ASHEBORO N.C. - Police say they arrested a driver found unconscious in a stolen vehicle sitting in traffic in Trinity last week. According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on May 21st, 2022, they responded to the intersection of Meadowbrook Dr. and NC-62 in Trinity, A 911 caller reported an unconscious driver in a vehicle blocking traffic. When a deputy arrived, they found a white SUV with an unconscious male in the driver seat. On May 21, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Hillsdale Park Drive, in Sophia, after getting a call about a breaking and entering in progress. The caller told 911 a male subject, who arrived on a moped, was inside the garage. When deputies arrived they saw the suspect attempting to start the moped. The Sheriff's Office says when they approached the suspect he refused to obey verbal commands and attempted to drive away on the moped. ASHEBORO N.C. - A local man is in jail under a one million dollar bond after police say he stabbed a victim multiple times on Sunday. Officers with Asheboro Police Department responded to Pelican Snowballs on Sunday May 8th 2022, after a child ran into the business reporting their mother had been stabbed. Officers responded to the business as well as a residence on Washington Ave. There they located they victim, identified as Renalta Smith, who had been stabbed multiple times. Smith was transported by EMS to a local medical facility. Police say after receiving a tip they were able to located the suspect identified as Kelly Lashaun Wiley, at the Dollar General on Zoo Parkway. According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, on April 27th, 2022, School Resource Officer received information that a female was possibly attempting to sell narcotics in the parking lot of Wheatmore High School. On April 18, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to McNeal St, in Asheboro for a report of a burglary in progress. Deputies say when they arrived the victim reported they arrived home to find a female inside the master bedroom of the home.
