Just before 3:30 PM Randolph County 911 was notified of a semi-truck on fire. The vehicle was in the parking lot of the Deep River Rail Trail on Hwy 64 E, just prior to the Ramseur city limits. 11 Goats Found Shot Dead Near Ramseur

RAMSEUR NC - Eleven goats were found shot on Parks Crossroads Church Rd. in the Ramseur area last Saturday. According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, On January 2, 2021, deputies responded to a call on Parks Crossroads Church Rd. in the Ramseur area. The owner of the property had found numerous goats including five baby goats and six adult goats, had been shot and killed. It is believed that the livestock was killed between the hours of 12:30PM and 5:30PM on 1/2/2021.
