July 4th 2021 Archdale 6PM to 10PM - Creekside Park The city of Archdale will be holding a smaller 4th of July celebration this year. They will be shooting off fireworks the night of the 4th at Creekside park, just after dusk. Staff will park cars until the park is full and then the park will be closed. Food Trucks will open at 6pm, music by DJ Squirrel will begin at 6pm as well. On the afternoon of April 14th, Barry Poff, who has 34 years and more than 3 million miles under his belt had just finished a delivery in Randleman and was heading South on I-73/74 to his next delivery. As he crossed the Randleman Lake bridge a bird flew in front of the truck and dropped a rather large fish which smacked right into the truck's windshield. Multi-Agency Drug Bust Leaves 2 In Federal Custody

ASHEBORO NC - A multi-agency drug bust led to a Randleman home being searched ending with two individuals in federal custody. According to a press release by the Randolph County Sherriff's Office, deputies with the Vice and Narcotics Division assisted by the Winston Salem Police Department, Asheboro Police Department, Randleman Police Department, NC State Bureau of Investigation and US Drug Enforcement Administration concluded an investigation related to the distribution of Methamphetamine in the Randleman area. On March 16th, 2021, Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Sunset Drive in Randleman where they say they seized approximately 2.5 pounds of Fentanyl, 10.3 pounds of Methamphetamine, 12,601 dosage units (9.2 pounds) of Amphetamine, 52,152 dosage units (28.7 p...

According to Michael Smith, assistant chief and fire investigator with the Randleman Fire Department while the investigation is still underway he is confident that a water heater malfunction is to blame for starting the fire.
